Date Night: Let’s Set the Night on Fire!

Here’s a delicious and fun menu to make the heart go pitter-patter! We’ll have candles and twirling hearts (honest) to put some romance in the air!  I can hardly wait!  Let’s cook up a classic fondue and gourmet cheese puffs to get it all started…, then a hypnotic risotto, topped off with flaming cherries – blam-o!  A post-Valentine’s date to remember!

Smoked Gouda Fondue – smoky, cheesy, gooey and romantic

Gruyere Gougeres- classic, crisp, hard to share except with the one you love!

Roasted Mushroom Risotto or Roasted Butternut Squash and Sage Risotto- stir, stir, stir while you stare in to your sweetheart’s eyes…

Do you love to eat sushi?   In this class we will prepare miso soup, cucumber salad, hand-rolls or temaki, spider-roll using tempura battered, soft-shell crab, uramaki or rolls with rice on the outside of the nori, and the popular rainbow roll.  This class will also incorporate sushi etiquette and useful  Japanese phrases.  Come build your sushi knowledge and expand your repertoire to use at home.
